Let’s try this one last time…

If I’ve learned anything over the past year it’s that I need to be true to who I am. I’ve started and stopped several “endeavors” because I worked at them for awhile and came to realize that it wasn’t entirely who I am as a whole.

From YouTube channels, websites, and business ideas and so on…

I’ve found that I have continued to keyhole myself into one part of who I am or another. Which never lasts, and is never constructive because it only addresses a part of my passions and ideas and doesn’t allow me to grow in anything else.

What I’ve come to realize is that whatever I do needs to allow the ability for me to talk about, to do, and to be who I am. It needs the ability to be fluid.

Why fluid… Because that’s how my interests and hobbies work. I jump from one thing to another as the mood strikes. And I’ve learned over time that if I don’t allow myself that fluidity bad things happen.

Now, I have over the last months and years thought and designed things that have helped me to visualize and identify common key components to who I am (I’ll post on that later). Which have helped me to see the common threads between all of my hobbies, passions, and various interests, as well as the threads that tie those things to my core identity.

That core identity being woven around my recently created life mantra of FFH>EE. That being Faith, Family, Health, is greater and more important than Everything Else. Because let’s face it, without my faith in God, my family, and my health I really have nothing and whatever I pursue will only be a shadow compared to those three keys.

I’ll get into all of this much deeper later on…

Nevertheless, One Nine Concepts is my design, my creation, my expression of who I am that encompasses all of myself. Everything from my faith to my love of reading and writing, my family and being a father to my passion for working with my hands and skilled trades of ages past, my health and wellness to my desires for a simplified life that is lived to enhance the things that build myself and others up.

It’s also my place to encourage others to live a fulfilling life with moments that are more precious than gold or silver, to become the best they can be, to be more and do more, to serve others, and to do good in the world.
